RE: Re: Simmons on Ricky Davis

In response to simmons changing his mind on players, I am glad he does
this. He is willing to say he was wrong unlike other sportswriters who
refuse to change (shaughnessy, who I have not read for 2 years now). I
am with simmons, I hated ricky davis at first because of what I had
heard about him. After watching him play, I think he brings a lot of
hustle and despite his ridiculous antics sometimes, I think he can be a
big help. I like when players prove me wrong (unless it's acie earl and
he does not wind up being the next Robert Parish).

The idea Danny Boy is to acquire an impact player, so you have to give
up something
of value. I expect, after the season, we'll be informed that Welsch's
injury is worse
than they let on. I see him next season being a much better player.
