Racial differences



Black athletes tend to do better at sports that put a premium on running and
jumping due to an anatomical advantage.  Many years ago a Ph.D. working for
the YMCA measured athletes and found that blacks generally have a more
favorable crural index, defined as follows:
Crural Index: Ratio of the length of the lower leg (tibia) divided by the
length of the upper leg (femur) multiplied by 100.
