Draft - 6/24
Expansion draft - 6/22
FA begins after the season although you technically 7/1 is the key date, since that's when you can sign FA and the cap numbers are re-set and FA dropped from the total. 
Since Blount will be an unrestricted FA after the season as it stands now, should not be eligible for the draft (per the Piston's site re: unrestricted FA)

    Can one of the experts out there answer a question or two?  First, when is the draft?  When is the Charlotte expansion draft?  Is Blount a free agent before or after the Charlotte draft?  In other words, do the Cs have to worry about whether to protect him?  Thanks.
