Knicks running fast off the court

How fast did the Knicks move to get Vin in the fold?

He's already listed on their official website as one of the players, and 
Vin's section on NBA.com now has the Knick's logo--whereas less than six 
hours ago, you had to enter Vin's name manually to find his section with 
the C's logo gracing it.  His career transactions doesn't even mention the 
C's terminating his contract, never mind the Knicks picking him up.

Isaiah Thomas has done everything but publicly order Lenny Wilkens to put 
vin in the game tonight, making it clear that the Sixers could expect to 
see Baker at the pregame shootaround tonight.

If the Knicks could move that fast during games, they'd be at the top of 
the EC.

Amazing, how negotiating a contract seemed to take less than 24 hours from 
the time the arbitrator's decision was released.  It almost makes one think 
about how easy it would be to arrange by simply ignoring the prohibition 
from the NBA just vacated yesterday.  Plane ticket and everything, uniform 
included.

I have to wonder if the term "collusion" can only be applied to the league 
here...
