Re: Juwan Howard?

Would you really prefer Howard to Gooden? Orlando is supposedly shopping both and I would much rather grab a guy like Gooden who is young and getting better than Howard who is better suited to being a nice add on for a contending team...

I kind of like this deal. Howard gives us a physical 4, and Hunter can block
shots.

This frees us up to move Blount for a Rodney White or Maybe with Davis for Dampier and Van Exel and a pick or two?

I would have preferred Giricek and Gooden

Here's someone saying it's going to happen. Everything posted after this is the opinion of the Seattle writer, not me:

Trade report out of Seattle.

www.lockedonsports.com

he's the KJR (local sports radio) basketball expert.

The Orlando Magic will trade Juwan Howard, Pat Garrity and Steven Hunter
to Boston for Chris Mills and Chris Mihm. Boston is making this deal to
fill their void at the 4 spot due to the failure of Vin Baker. Orlando
receives cap space and cash because Mills insurance policy will kick in
at the end of the year and be worth about 1.7 million dollars.
If this goes down I am not sure it is such a good move for Boston. I
have changed my position on Juwan Howard. Watching Howard this year he
has looked terrible. His feet look slow, he has lost his lift and his
jumper is far less consistent.
