RE: Insider on another possible Celtics trade

Yeah, I'm not a big Corliss fan, but it's a stretch to say there's no
difference between Corliss and Brandon Hunter. I like Hunter, too, but
he hasn't done anything approaching what Corliss has done. Maybe he
will, but maybe not. How long did we wait for Kedrick Brown?

Anyway, apparently the Pistons also own Milwaukee's first-round pick.
That would be a mid-first-rounder. That's better. I'm still not sold,
though. It just doesn't sound like an Ainge move. Williamson doesn't
fill any need, and he isn't easily tradeable. The asset you'd be getting
-- a mid or late first-round pick -- isn't enough to take back the bad
contract. That's why I'd be insisting on Delfino. Even then, I'm hoping
there are better offers. I feel like they need to turn this asset
(Mills) into either a rebounder or point guard. Not just another
swingman (Williamson) or middling draft picks.

Why do we need Corliss Williamson when we already
have Brandon Hunter? Will someone let this guy play
before they throw away value on a redundant player?
I can't remember feeling this impotent since (not coincidentally)
the Danny Fortson debacle.
