I meant to comment on that as well. Garbage time or no, Hunter and Perkins looked really good. I couldn't help thinking while watching that tha twe could be watching the next Parish\McHale tandem that will be here for 10+ years. I'm not comparing talent or skills betweenthose 4 guys... just saying H\P could have the same type of impact that P\M did. I'd like to see Perkins playing with the regulars. I think he'd be just as effective. He just knows how to play the game. And Hunters nose for the ball is amazing. Just one of those guys who knows how to get to the right spot at the right time.

(I loved the play on the Celts last basket. Kendrick posting up down low, takes a jump hook, misses, Hunter there for the rebound and dunk in traffic. I just have so much hope for those two. Once they get experience and are consistently on the floor together, they will be a joy to watch. They just compliment each other so well.)

It's actually Kirk, but he did play an awesome game. I wasn't as impressed with
his 23 points, as with his 14 assists and general court awareness. It helped
that Crawford and Robinson were hitting their shots, but still. Such a bummer
we couldn't get him.

I think our guys are definitely in the lotto mode. Davis hasn't played a lick
of defense since Obie left. And Pierce is taking it easy. But there were some
positives: Kendrick managed 4 points, 3 rebounds and 2 blocks in 7 minutes,
albeit in garbage time. Brandon looked pretty spunky as well. Tommy was so
resigned as to forget the refs and speculate on what qualities the next Celtics
coach should have. Did you hear him tear into Obie and college coaches in
general for stifling the game?
