Re: but what DID heinsohn say?

Thanks! I watched the game here in New York with Clyde the Glyde
doing the color. It always seemed to me that the Celtics didn't really
have an installed offense. Just a few set plays....and this is the guy
that Ryan, May, et al. are weeping over.

As tommy would say, "give me a BREAK!"

Didn't you see the Knick game? I have since recorded over it so I have to go
on memory. He spent a lot of the second half saying that Obie continuously
focused on the team as having defensive problems, when he thought they had
offensive problems. He said they spent all their time working on the defense.
He said the reason why Davis and Mihm, previously strong offensive players,
have struggled offensively since they have come here because they haven't
spent any time practising the offense with them and therefore can't figure out
how to fit in offensively. He said he didn't blame Carroll because he hasn't
had any practice time to correct things offensively. He spent quite of bit of
time talking about it and was quite adamant. He was really ticked about Mihm
getting pulled for making one mistake on defense and then getting pulled early
in the third quarter and then only playing 14 minutes. He said practically
shouted out that if Mihm is your in your core, he should be playing. He also
he said he loved Walter but he just doesn't see the Cs being able to do
anything with Walter playing the power forward. I assumed everyone had seen
the game or I would have commented earlier. There was more but I have slept a
bunch since....
