Just to weigh in on the important stuff...

I HATE the  new white shoes.  The Celts were the originators of the 
black shoe look, if i'm not mistaken, and to me they are as central to 
the C's as the parquet, the classic unis (god forbid we end up like the 
Rockets or some other team...), the no cheerleaders, etc. Oh yeah and 
the fast break -- which is BACK!  Wahoo!

Also, I'm miffed that Jones didn't go on the IL -- as someone else 
mentioned previously.  Last night with about 6 mins left when Pierce 
got taken out, we were up by 20 or so and I was thinking "This would be 
the PERFECT time for Perkins to get some real experience".  Why not let 
Hunter or Perkins get run for 5-10 games till Jones is ready?.

I look forward to that actually happening less this year -- i.e. seeing 
Walker & Pierce in the game up (or down) 20 with 5 mins left.  It won't 
happen as often maybe with this team, but IMO that's where Obrien has 
flubbed the development of Kedrick over the last few years.

What does the team, collectively, or (say) Waltah, individually, gain 
by playing out the last 5 mins?  Nada.
