While Banks is likely to be a solid player, there were a plethora of PG options
in the past draft.

Lots of impressive PGs, including ones like Barbosa, who
were right there at 20 and below, and even second-rounders like Gene's
boy Blake, who has been a pre-season assist-o-matic machine.

If you missed the Jackie Mac piece yesterday, she noted that Banks
was progressing slower than the Celtics expected.

And now there's the new PG: Jiri Welsch.

Perhaps Banks and Welsch will be the backcourt of the future.
