"One of??????????"  Shawn, while I completely agree with your main point I
challenge you or anyone else on this list to name one -- just one --
managerial or coaching move, in any sport, at any level, at any time in
the history of sports that even approaches Grady Little's 8th inning
pitching moves in sheer stupidity.  McNamara's decision not to pinch hit
for or otherwise replace Buckner in Game 6 of the 86 WS pales in
comparison.  Next to Little, Jim O'Brien is Red Auerbach.  Next to Little,
Rich Kotite is Vince Lombardi.

To paraphrase Jamie Lee Curtis in A Fish Called Wanda, calling Grady
Little stupid is an insult to stupid people.
