Sox

   I am about to turn on the game and almost hope, in a sad way, that the Sox 
lose.  First, as one commentator on radio said, "If the Sox and Cubs go to 
the Series, the world will end."  I agree.  If the Sox should win, they will 
suddenly become just another team.  No, I will say I want them to win, but deep 
down inside, I'll be hoping for another 7th game swoon, another jewel in the 
crown of failure they have worn for almost 90 years.  If they win tonight they 
have to play the Yankees, and I do NOT want them to lose to the Yankees.  
Better to die fast and wait til next year.
