Re: Songaila

averaging nearly 11 ppg and 6 rpg while shooting 54% from the field and
93% from the line. That's way better production than any of the Celtics
big guys except Baker (and even Baker, if you adjust for the minutes
played). Of course, that's in Sacramento, the league's best, most
efficient offense (#1 in points, FG% and 3pt FG%), where they play
European-style motion basketball, where the fast break is run to
perfection, and where smart, efficient team players are appreciated. Here
he'd be on the bench or on the IL, watching basketball geniuses Mark
"Blitzer" Blount and Waltuh implement Obie's so-called offense (currently
#26 in the league).>>

My issue is with how the Cs dealt with Songaila last year -- still can't
believe they sent him to Europe and signed Wolkowyski instead. I won't
make any judgments about the trade until we see what happens with Hunter.
It kills me that EW and McCarty are soaking up minutes at the 4 while an
actual rebounder languishes on the bench.
