I didn't get to see the post game comments from O'Brien. Did he specifically 
say that he called for a 3 pt shot from Pierce with 10 seconds left and take 
the shot as quickly as possible? I watched the game on NBA TV and from my 
vantage point it looked like Pierce had his mind made up once he got the ball and 
just launched it from the top of the key. No jab step, no probing of the 
defense, no fake, no look for Baker, he just let it fly. This from a guy that shot 
30% for the game and who bypassed Baker who was shooting 50% and had a size 
advantage over his defender.

Do you know for a fact that O'Brien called for Pierce to take a "3" with your 
assertion that 'OB choked' ? Cause from my vantage point that was Pierce all 
the way who had his mind made up that he was going to take the last shot to 
win it instead of trusting one of his teammates .  .  . again.
