Is this going to last all season or is it merely an aberration?

Pierce's FG% is now 39% after his 4 - 15 game with 7 more TO's tonight yet
prior to facing the Bulls here were his current rankings in some critical
categories:

I thought having the summer off would have helped him return this year
stronger and refreshed. However, his FT attempts are off dramatically from
last year
and with only 4 more tonight, he's now down to just under 5/game this year
vs. almost 10 FT attempts/game last year.

So, his FG% is now below 40% and down to a career low yet he's still in the
Top 10 in shot attempts; his FT attempts/game are down 50% from prior year;
his
scoring average is at its lowest point in 4 seasons; his steals are down from
prior year; and his TO's are up to a career high and a league leading total.
In fairness, his assists are up form prior year and are at a career best.

What's it going take to get this turned around?
