O'Brien
I have to agree with this. It's only the third game of the season and
O'Brien already plopped Banks in the doghouse. Admittedly, he had about
as bad a first half as is imaginable, but surely he could have played
three minutes in the second half to give James a breather on the second
night of back-to-backs. And Pierce went the final 36 minutes after
Welsch showed a little something in the first half (and never returned).
Not to mention that the team completely reverted to last year's brutal
fourth quarter offense of "Let's stand around and try to give PP the
ball against a triple team."
That was an easily winnable game.

Obie got hit by the stupid stick tonight. Yeah, the Cs played 3 games in four
nights and played at tough team at home. However, Obie overplayed PP like the
old days and both PP and James didn't get a rest in the second half. The Cs
lost the team concept and didn't try to develop a pick and roll with LaFrenz or
low post offense with Baker. The Armstrong defense was disrupting but
remember, this is only the third game of the season.
