the most encouraging game yet

odd to say in a loss, but since I had this one
marked up in the L column going in, I was pretty
happy.  Consider:

1)  the game was a back to back road game;
2)  against one of the best teams in the conference;
3)  the team is still trying to find out how to play;

you have to be happy that they were in a position to
win in the late 4th quarter, but for some makeable
missed shots and a career night from Baron Davis.

I find that very encouraging. The point guard play
should improve with practice, coaching, and video.
Pierce was off for the 2nd night in a row, and the
coaching tonight was about a C+ (why couldn't they
get the ball to Vin?). Both those problems are temporary,
I think. Kedrick, though, I've about given up on. It wouldn't surprise
me to learn that he is having ankle pain again and/or
is fatter than he should be. I wish we had traded Brown
and kept Joe Johnson. That's the trade that still stings...
