And so it goes ...



Well, Cleveland disproved the ML Carr Theorem that
flagrant tanking of a season doesn't pay off. Jim
Paxson's job is saved after a year in which he let his
starting PF walk away for nothing and fired a coach
who was given zero to work with. All of a sudden Jeff
Van Gundy rethinks that broadcasting career.

Here's what will be interesting: with James, Ricky
Davis, Wagner and Miles, the Cavs have too many
perimeter players hollering for the ball. Miles looks
like the loser in that scenario; it'll be interesting
to see what kind of market there is for him. 

They've gotta hope Z stays healthy and Boozer and
Jumaine Jones continue to develop. Still gotta think
they're headed for lotto-land, but they could be fun,
a la the 1980s-era Denver Nuggets.

Here's a scarier thought: Detroit adding Melo
Anthony???
