does anyone know what vin baker's official status is
now? is he going to the games? it's like he's a
nonperson. not that i'm complaining. how weird.
He's busy -in rehab- and still suspended. There was an article in the paper
just within the past week or so saying that the Cs -including Obie- had
been maintaining contact and he was doing well. So no, hardly a no person.
Except perhaps to the players association, who haven't come through on any
of their threats about that suspension. Which is actually no surprise - it
was mostly PR bluster, since their own CBA says they can't file a grievance
on Vin's behalf without his permission. Anyway, aside from the suspension,
what purpose would be served by pulling him out of his rehab environment to
go to the Fleece and be boo'd on sight as badly as our opponents.
