I see your point. I guess in retrospect, I can see why that question may have been asked.

I still don't think that that should be part of the reason Obie gets fired. Chances are whatever new coach comes in will feel the same way. That is pretty typical of all sports where coaches don't think reporters know a whole lot. Once a team starts losing, the coach usually gets a little more ornery about it.

Perhaps, although given that they were without Battie and Delk, and the fact
that Kedrick played alot of minutes early, I could see how someone would ask
that question. Not sure I agree that it was all that stupid when your
starting center, a player that he had previously alluded to as the
cornerstone member of their defensive scheme, was not in the lineup. Obie
has repeated stated that everything comes to them based off of how they play
defensively, right?
