one new stat
l. Number of times in a game (or per minute played, or per opponent's defensive rebound or steal) a player retreats to thwart a fast break opportunity. This may not pertain to big men as much as guards and small forwards.
This is my contribution. It shows that a multitude of seemingly small things make for winning; some, like this, are virtually impossible to statisticize. So, what's your new stat? Gene
