Far from being a top 10 pick, never mind a top 3 pick.
Next year's draft has the Big Korean, Perovic, Okafor,
the Serbian 7-footer with unwritable name, Khyrapa,
etc. 

Perkins will be a solid NBA center ala Montross before the free throw
shooting implosion, but he's not championship material.

If Perkins isn't going to be able to contribute for three years, why not
take the better prospect Lampe?
