Re: Bad news, Kobe Nailed

If it's true, then I feel terrible for the girl and it's too bad Kobe let himself get in a situation like that. Guilty or not, he will get off. OJ got away with murder; Kobe can get away with a little ol' sexual assault case.

Still, I will not complain if this means bad things for the Lakers. If this in some way makes the team worse or causes disention in some way which leads to bad play, I'm all for it. Although I am sure no Lakers fans were happy when Bias or Lewis died, I am sure that they were not complaining that it made our team worse in the process.

First, I agree with the Beagle here. For sure. Second, just because he is charged, doesn't mean he is guilty, or will be found guilty even if he is. Money buys a lot of things.

Exulting in Kobe's predicament because he is a Laker is pretty sick. I've been rooting against the Lakers my whole life and this story gives me no pleasure. Kobe is a great player who has a pretty straight arrow reputation.
If he wore green he'd be a god around here. (Boston) There are a lot of reasons for someone to accuse a rich basketball player of something like this. I'm witholding judgement until the facts are in. I think that we sometimes forget that the word fan comes from fanatic.
