I Like The Sprewell Trade

If the Knicks toss in a signed Maciej Lampe and the rights to
Milos Vujanic, it's a great deal for the Celtics, as it supplies them
with
both their starting center and point guard of the future. But that most
certainly
isn't happening, and with the Knicks inability to deal Kurt Thomas,
due to the lack of Big People available, a trade with the evil New
Yorkers seems unlikely.

But don't give up hope of Walker being moved.

Someday it will happen, and perhaps Chicago will be Antoine's
destination.

We think that the Bulls and Celtics almost had a Walker trade completed,

before Jay Williams turned into Evil Knieval.

And we know that the Bulls drafted a player, Kurt Hinrich, who the
Celtics
wanted very badly, or as Jo Jo White said:

"We want him like gangbusters...He runs
like (John) Havlicek and shoots like (Jerry) West. Just like Paul
(Pierce), he's the kind of guy that's going to be a better scorer in the

pros than he was in college."

So, perhaps a Walker to the Bulls trade can be resurrected
with Toine and Clanks going to the Bulls for Hinrich, Fizer, Marshall,
and Robinson or something similar.

In other news, the Celtics may have Israeli combo guard
Tal Burstein on their Summer League team.
