Re: antoine's production

Nope, not even remotely a coincidence. My compliments on realizing it. I actually mentioned something along those lines to Mr Meyers on the last 1510 post game call in show. And you're dead on that one of the biggest reasons is that it takes a lot of pressure of Antoine, who would never refuse it, but clearly had too much. He could probably handle the minutes or having to run the offense, but was clearly showing the strain of having to do both. Continual high stress/pressure can be as wearing as heavy physical wear and tear. Combine the two and something's going to give. This frees him up to do what he does best - act as man of all parts facilitator, with a role whose specifics change according to what the situation calls for. It also means the ball isn't in his hands as much for him to make as many well meant but wrong I can do it all decisions.

As to your Kenny point, maybe. All these deep regrets about him are predicated on his having another good season for us, which totally ignores the fact that that's been by far the exception rather than the rule. And Kenny had plenty of his own weaknesses that also need to be included in what he took away with him. The overall point that we clearly needed someone better able to play true PG than Delk or Shammond, however, I'll certainly agree with.

Now if we can only do something revolutionary now that we have one and start running a true break to everyone's benefit in more ways than you probably want to hear me expound on...

Is it just a coincidence that Twon has posted a couple of his best games of
the season with Bremer at the point?

Perhaps someone who has seen the last couple games can lend some insight on
this, but just from the boxscores it looks as if Antoine has been a major
beneficiary of Bremer's emergence.

I expect that Bremer benefits Twon indirectly takes a lot of pressure off
Twon (both physically and in terms of decision making?) leaving Twon fresher
and better placed to within the offense.

If this is indeed the case then we have another example of how merely
counting Delk and Swill's ppg and assists does not begin to acknowledge what
this team lost when Kenny was sent packing....
