No, it's because he threw up 3 quick threes,  airballing at least one. The
Boston contingent, while accounting for 9% of the total minutes, accounted for
almost 30% of the threes taken (8 out of 27), going 1 for 8. How typical. I
despise Thomas as much as the next guy, but there was no anti-Boston
conspiracy. He just isn't Obie, he doesn't have to give in to this madness,
that's all. Besides, he was bending over backwards trying to show he was cool
with MJ, in the process playing him more minutes than was good for him. 
Speaking of MJ, how silly would it have been if they had given him the MVP,
when he was playing a typical Toine game (you know, bricklaying and getting
stuffed multiple times)? There's respect, and there's insulting obsequiousness.
