Well it was really your suggestion.  But if we are really looking toward
the future, and knowing that most on this list think we have a pretty
good squad with the largest exception being at the point, I'm not sure I
would grab Thomas even though his contract comes off the books after
this season I believe.  Obie is already complaining that we have 97 big
men and not enough guards.  

I don't think that constantly changing the complexion of the team is
necessarily a good thing. Though my mind is still not made up on Ainge,
I cannot fault him for taking risks.  If the building blocks are in
place, which at the moment appear to be Pierce, Davis, Baker, LaFrentz,
Mihm, Perkins, Welsch and Banks, I would still prefer to bring in a
rebounding stud like Fortson or Gary Trent.  Brandon Hunter could be
that guy but we are obviously not going to see him on the floor in the
near future.  Too bad.
