Can the NBA's offense catch back up to its defensive nature?

 (Hubie) Brown gave a slight wince at the thought.

``The offense now has to catch up to the defense with creativity,'' he said.
``But  a coach can have the greatest offense, and the greatest offensive  
philosophy, and if he doesn't have the material, it won't make a difference.

``Just like six (coaches) have been fired for trying to run the triangle
offense and why? They didn't have (Michael) Jordan and (Scottie) Pippen.
Instead
they tried to do it with Joe and X. The defenses will catch up because they
have athletic guys.''
