Trouble is his 'forte'.

Sonics guard Forte arrested on drug, gun charges
Associated Press
ABINGDON, Md. (AP) _ Seattle SuperSonics guard Joseph Forte was arrested on
gun and drug charges after he was stopped for speeding.

Forte, 22, was pulled over Thursday afternoon and arrested after a trooper
smelled marijuana and searched his car, state police said Friday. Small
plastic bags and containers holding 20.6 grams of marijuana were found, along
with a .22-caliber pistol and a pistol magazine, police said.

Forte entered the NBA draft after his sophomore season at North Carolina and
was taken by the Celtics with the 21st pick in the 2001 draft. He was
acquired by Seattle last year as one of the players in the Vin Baker trade.

A July 10 trial date was scheduled.
