The best player in college hoops doesn't necessarily translate to a sure
thing.
Carmelo lacks NBA strength and isn't a great athlete ala Vince Carter or the
high school guys like KG or Amare. Shane Battier isn't exactly a great
player...

The Celts need a good big man PF/C and a good point. You can build around a
swingman...but best case scenario this guy is as good as Paul Pierce and umm
we already have PP. :P More likely he is the next Hamiliton, IMHO.

If we did trade up I doubt we would draft Carmelo. More likely that Darko
guy..(Philly pick and Walker) If we could pick up this guy and Steve Blake
(2nd Round).. that might be a good combo. But of course OB would have to
go...and PP might be a bit upset.

If we hold our picks maybe we could get like...James Lang instead of Darko...
With Wallace though a guy like Dwayne Wade...is always a possibility. Or
maybe some ultra athletic highschooler I am overlooking. Wallace will likely
feel burned after drafting just an average athlete like JJ and being forced
to send him off..
