Re: A Kenny comeback?



One of the things I tried to watch Friday night, which of course cannot be
noticed from tvland, was Walker interactions with his teammates.  I think
one of is plusses is how he tries to counsel them when things don't turn out
properly.  I noticed him on the bench talking and gesturing to Bremer while
on the bench.  Now many other established players may not give players like
Bremer the time of day, but there's Toine making the effort.

He also seems to be the guy who gets in Pierce's face when the situation
calls for it.  And when I hear other players talk about the team, his name
is normally mentioned as one of their leaders.

But folks see what they like.  If the entire team took out a full page ad in
the Globe proclaiming his leadership qualities, I don't think you would
agree with them.
