First Cook, now El Amin

These two point guards, Omar Cook and Khalid El Amin, canbt seem
to stick with any team. Wonder if their tragic flaws are more
evident on-court or off-court?

Sounds like our BT was smart to not sign El Amin and not retain
Cook who Wallace hyped last April as being equal to the first-round
2002 draft choice we had traded away.

MIAMI (AP) - The Miami Heat released point guard Khalid El-Amin
on Monday.

In his only action of the preseason, El-Amin was held scoreless with one
turnover in five minutes Friday against Minnesota.

El-Amin, a second-round pick in 2000 by Chicago, averaged 6.3 points
and 2.9 assists in 50 games for the Bulls during the 2000-01 season.

He signed with Miami last month.

El-Amin split time last season between the Gary Steelheads and the
Dakota Wizards of the CBA, and with Strasbourg IG in France.
