between us is that you glory in your subtlety, while turning on your friends.

And what do you know of personal encounters?  Are they letting you out of the pen
after all these years?

I call a spade a spade, so that everyone understands it.  You're more pleased with HOW
you say things than the fact that your comments are still digs, and mean ones at that.

Even with the summer breezes on the Maine coast, a rotten egg still stinks.
