I think the selection committee operates at arm's length from the coach,
although I'm sure Larry Brown will have some input. Sixers GM Billy King is
on the selection committee, so you can bet Brown has his ear.

If it's up to Brown, who knows what Antoine's chances will be? Brown has
been on record saying he likes Antoine's game, but then Antoine was an ass
at the end of Game 5 of the Philly series last spring, when he stood about
three feet from Brown and obnoxiously stared at him. Remember that? And
Brown waving him off? I'm sure Brown remembers. Hopefully it won't be a case
of the chickens coming home to roost for Antoine.

Antoine really is a good fit for international play. If he would adapt his
game to fit with all the great scorers, he'd be a great addition.
