To be honest, I don't think Obie really deserves any coach of the year votes. He did a great job motivating and preparing this team, but they are so undercoached offensively that even now they are making mistakes that should have been cleared up in training camp. His laissez-faire approach to offense takes him out of the running, IMHO.
