Predictions Update March 25

After watching the Good Guys drop a bad game on NBC, I'm hoping we do
better next weekend. Heck, I'm hoping we do better TONIGHT!! Anyway, the
Celtics are now 39-31 with 12 games remaining. The long, strange trip
continues tonight as we go to play Miami, and Pat "pllllbbbbt"
Riley. (Gee, can you tell I hold a grudge for him being a former Laker
coach??)

Game time at 730pm ET--That's Eastern Time, for all you Spielberg fans....
:>)))))

BTW, I know it's probably throwing liquid Hydrogen on top of the Towering
Inferno, but I can't help but wonder why so many people are upset over the
C's recent poor showing. Based on the list below, most of the people on
this list thought a winning regular season record would be a major
improvement when the season began. No, I don't think we should "settle"for
"just" getting into the playoffs--but when you consider how many people
thought that playing for position was exhibiting optimism worthy of their
own flying doghouse, maybe we might think, "Yes, it's frustrating, but
isn't it grand to be frustrated over maybe not winning the Eastern
Conference, than frustrated over not having a chance at the playoffs at all?

Me? I'm rooting for them to bring banner #17 home this year!!

Anyway, back to, as an episode of "The West Wing" called it, "Lies, Damn
Lies and Statistics", or, "The Agony and the Eastern Conference".
