Draft rumors

The Clipper picks would appear to be very much for the taking for a good
offer. Landing Olowokandi and Odom or a pick like Qyntel Woods, Chris
Wilcox, or Stoudemire would greatly improve the team . If we have to part
with Anderson, V, Battie, or even Kedrick in a package so be it. None of
them are expendable.

Rumor has it the Lakers are trying to move Horry or Fox and get Woods or
Wilcox, if they do you could see a dynasty like the C's of the 60's.

The Miami Heat are not the only team talking to late first round clubs about
swapping picks. As we discussed the Miami Heat were in discussions about
adding a second 1st rounder, and word is they'd use it on Tayshaun Prince,
talks center around New Jersey, who has put the for sale sign on their 1st
rounder, and its expected that San Antonio will do the same within the next
couple of days. The Orlando Magic made it known they are shopping for
another 1st, and have had talks with the Clippers, who are rumored to be
shopping the #8 and the #12. The Magic apparently have interest in swapping
the #18 for the #12, with the Magic being owed a future first rounder by the
Clips there is some room to barging. The Magic would like to add a point
guard and a forward from this class. The Cavs are also rumored to be
shopping the #6 pick, looking to swap a player selected at #6 for a polished
veteran, some say Cleveland will select Chris Wilcox and try and swing a
deal with the Knicks who covet him. The Warriors on the other hand were
considered a lock to draft Mike Dunleavy Jr., but the agent for Tskia
Tskitishvili, has indicated to league sources that Golden State expressed a
lot of interest in him during their visit this past week, and its not as
much of a lock as some people think. Again, the talk of Golden State
drafting Dunleavy and trading him is circling, its also been suggested
Dunleavy could be drafted and retained, while others are dealt in a draft
day or early free agency deal. Dunleavy gave no indication where he felt
he'd go when announcing his intent to leave Duke, only to say he did
research which suggests he'll go very high in the draft
