Re: Ralph Nader

I can only assume that Nader must smell money somewhere. A class action
suit by everyone who has watched a game? I thought Nader was leading the
charge against all those big bad food suppliers that sell food to people
that overeat and get fat? How dare they allow those people to buy food! His
posse of trial lawyers must need new BMW's again. What a sad sign.

I too have written to the "NBA" about the poor officiating. It is truly a
disgrace and is moving the NBA into the realm of the WWF. You would think
the players union would insist on fair officiating to give ALL the players
the ability to maximize their income not just a few chosen ones.

I just heard on the radio that Ralph Nadar has gone after the NBA for the
officiating of the Laker/Kings game that gave the game to the Lakers - the
specific issue the obvious foul by Kobie Bryant on Bibby - the elbow to the
nose. We all saw that, but the officials ignored it, of course. I've
personally written to the NBA twice this past season about the officiating
and asked them to retrain all the officials and demand accounting from them,
that I've never seen it so bad. At least now it's getting national
attention.

I don't know if the NBA wants a certain team to win - I guess these days
it's easy to believe that corruption exists - but I do know that calls are
made on some teams that never happened, over and over again, and vice versa.
I love pro basketball and whatever's wrong I hope they fix it. Maybe this
public exposure will do the trick - one can only hope!
