RE: grumpy

I cannot believe that anyone who watched the Kings performance in game 7, do
not point out that, just like we did, they shot atrociously from the line.
They win the game hands down with even a mediocre performance on their free
throws.

Mark, your posts have really been on the mark, lately, as well as
usually. I agree that it's worth a try to see if not just our big guys
but all who post up--Eric, etc--can benefit.

I watched Divac on the jump ball--maybe the fourth quarter Sunday
night--just to see his foot work; he quickly stepped in front of Shaq
and got the ball, pivoted and laid it in.  It had to be a planned play;
it was so cool. Divac has so much ability, but he and Webber seem to
glide, like Pierce and Joe Johnson. It's hard to know if that's their
optimum pace or not. But I was disappointed that they missed the big
shots. Christie, mainly, and Stoijokovic, secondarily, could have won
that game, but were way off on shots they usually can. Oh, well.
Another finals not to watch. It's like when the Bulls had it greased
for them. Another trophy, bought (in the $100 million deal for Shaq) by
Jerry Buss. I don't like it, but the Lakers and Yankees are doing it.
The Mavericks may be next.

Enough grump. Gene
