The 27-year-old Terquin Mott seems to have played
everywhere: Turkey, Venezuela, CBA, NBDL, the Philippines
(the San Miguel Beermen)...you name it. He was named an
academic All American in college (3rd team).
Mott finished a two-year Coppin State career (1995-1997)
ranked second in all-time field goal percentage (.594)
and sixth in all-time blocks with 67. Scored 1,347 points

two seasons at LaSalle (1992-1994) before transferring to

As a senior and for two consecutive years at Coppin
State, the Pennsylvania native was named to first-team
All-Mid Eastern Athletic Conference. He was also selected
as the Most Outstanding Player of the 1997 MEAC
Tournament. Mott helped the Eagles become only the third
No. 15 seed to advance in the NCAA Tournament in 1997
with an upset win over second-seeded and sixth-ranked
South Carolina.
As a junior, Mott finished nationally in FG% (.638) which
was third-best single-season performance in Coppin
history. He was also selected GTE Academic All-America
