The Bottom Line on the Celtics

They're a great defensive team, they hustle and rebound, and
can stay in close games with anybody. But they can't play
offense. At least not when they're injured the way they are now.
This game should never have gotten to overtime; we had them
down, it's an off night for them, and we just couldn't capitalize.
It's just so frustrating. I don't think we got one uncontested basket
all night. Just straining and straining and straining, and not getting
anything.

I will say though that this was a particularly cruel bit of scheduling.
To have to play a team like Toronto in a grudge match on their floor,
injured, and then to have a home game the next night against a
top-five opponent.... it's just not right. Now we are going to be looking
at LA and Charlotte as must-wins, and that's what they are. We have
Sacramento coming in behind them, as close to a sure L as there is
in the league. And then hopefully we can regroup. But somehow we
have to find a way to get some kind of easy baskets, some flow. Antoine
is what he is, and Pierce will give you better production most nights. But
how can we keep going on with a point guard who can't beat anybody?
We get less penetration than AC Green. It's just so frustrating.
