Personnel wise it was a fine trade....

I would still favour Kenny over Shammond..but Shammond isn't that bad, plus
he is a couple of years younger. Baker is definetly better then
Potapenko..who had no real inside game, and couldn't really catch. Baker has
some genuine talent even if he doesn't put up numbers. He can catch for
starters.

It does hurt us cap flexibility wise alot.. So for that reason its a bad
trade.

Beyond that I think Wallace is doing fine. He didn't draft perfectly...but I
think that it only takes one or two hits in the draft to fix his image there.

Truth is I think that both Baker and the much maligned Kedrick could easily
be showcased if the team was out of contention. Both of these guys could put
up good stats if OB wanted them too. What OB wants though is wins.

I think actually Papile is pretty good at finding undrafted NBA talent...
The guy knows alot about younger players and I think is a real hoops guy..
I like him.

OB is a very good coach as well..
Only problem I have with him is that I don't think he cares about player
development.
With the Celts playing so well I imagine they will trade our picks this
year..and maybe even Kedrick for a established roleplayer. Since I love young
players I hate that..

But the Celtics are just interested in winning games..
I don't think they have championship intentions.
