Mutombo out

I don't know if this will make it or not. I sent a couple of posts yesterday
that haven't made it yet. Who knows? Anyway...

Dikembe Mutombo is out a couple of months with a hand injury. It will be
interesting to see how the Nets handle it. I wouldn't be at all surprised to
see them actually improve without Mutombo in there. It will mean more time
for Rogers, Aaron Williams and the Collins twin. This should make them a
much faster team. This may actually be a blessing in disguise for the Nets.
We'll see.

Also... for the other draft nuts out there... this early college hoops
season has been a real showcase for some outstanding freshmen. If you want
to learn about the names you'll be hearing the next couple of years in the
draft, check out teams like North Carolina, Duke, Florida, Syracuse and
Illinois. The players don't have household names yet, but they're producing
for some big-time programs.
