No way I would ever have had a dream BEFORE any game-that Gaston would
be coming to the game. Duh... Guess I'll have to revise that a bit.
Hey-maybe thats an omen that RR will get offered $ to stay. Huh-so much
for omens. :)

The farther we go, in the playoffs and the more Gaston views the madding
crowds, the better the chance, for not only Rogers to get a contract, but
Strickland and Walter, also.
Can you imagine winning this series, let alone one or two more, and
starting out next season without any of those three, to be replaced by a
useless, minimum salary player, or a second round pick? While the other
contenders will be drafting in the first round and developing their # 1
picks from last year, we will be losing up to three of our top 8 players? I
don't think Gaston has the miserly balls for that.
Imagine if he does make that edict to Wallace. "Let two of three, move
on." This team has started to win some fans. O'Brien and Wallace have some
cachet now and could move on to other teams looking for coaches/G.M's. Can
you imagine the hue and cry, from fans and players alike, if O'Brien and
Wallace offered to resign, if Gaston didn't at least make a reasonable
offer, to those three, free agents?
Here's hoping that Gaston, finaly seeing some return on his investment,
sees the light and rewards the fans, by keeping together the nucleus of this
scrappy team. We need to take the next step; maneuver for a formidable
center and develop the "point guard of the future," not take a step or two
back and start looking for depth at the swing positions again. Good grief!
