RE: Omar Cook

Cook can definitely run with the big boys. He has the court vision of
Jason Kidd, Jamaal Tinsley, etc, and as Chris Wallace stated, he is
electric in the open floor. Clearly, the Celtics are looking to unleash
some fast break basketball next year and Cook is a highlight reel in
that respect. The question with him is one of a very inconsistent
jumper as well as very questionable shot selection, which means he
should fit in quite well with the Celtics....

Looks like the C's picked up Omar Cook. I like this move because it
gives is a backup for when Strickland takes off next year.

Maybe Forte can get some time at the 2?

The down side is that Cook has been released from 2 teams already.
Kicking ass in the minor leagues, but may not have what it takes to run
with the big boys. For $70,000 and a kid who is 20 years old, (who we
almost took with the 21 spot) this is a sound move!
