Don't discount the coaching.

   Coaching, coaching, coaching!
   In my opinion; all playoff speculation, surrounds the underestimated
aspect of the game; great coaching.
   Brown, Wilkins, Riley, Karl and VanGundy, will have their teams there.
Who can really doubt that? Even with injuries and ageing teams, these
coaches have proved they can win at least 40 games a season.
   Silas and Rivers have shown they can also guide a team through the "rough
waters," while not as experienced as the above five.
   Has Isaih learned enough to keep the talented Pacers on track? Will
Michael Jordan give his buddy Doug Collins the boost he needs? In Atlanta
the young coach is the wild card. The team has playoff talent, but does the
coach have playoff temperment?
   Where does Jimmy O'Brien fit in with these veteran coaches who have
proved themselves?
