The problem with points per shot is that it doesn't count missed attempts where the shooter is fouled. If a guy gets fouled and hits two free throws he's got 2 points on zero shots. What does that make his rating? This is why the guys who do best on this rating are the ones who get to the line a lot. Their "attempts" are artificially low. Jim
