I was thinking more that a couple all star team members would help entice
solid free agents to "consider" coming to Boston if the Benjamin's offered
were similar to other offers.  I also think national exposure (TV) would go
up due to the fan voting.  It may also make either of them more valuable in
a sign and trade with their "all star" status.

Plus, I'm not convinced that any of the other guys on the list are any less
"me first" then our guys and I always support our guys against the other
guys anyway.  (Only I can call a Celtics player a moron, if any non-Celtics
fan does that, then them's fighting words ;>).

Basically there isn't any down side I can see.

Though, I don't disagree with your thoughts on the matter.
