Screw the stats.....

How many of the Walker supporters actually watch the
the Celts games? Because it seems like these people
just read box scores and let their imagination run
wild. YOu just have to watch a game to see how
unrefined his game is.

Also when you watch the games, you get the
realization that Toine no matter how "good" a shape he
is in, just lacks the physical skills to be a real All
Star. Duncan is alot more taller and alot more
smoother in the post than Toine. Vince, Kobe, and
T-Mac are all better jumpers with more explosive first
steps than Toine. Really, what does Toine have that
is physically outstanding. He is somewhat agile for a
6-9 guy and he is somewhat quick. Not blazingly fast
like Stoudamire or Iverson, but above average. Also
the reason why Toine doesn't dunk in games much when
he's in the post is that he has zero lift off his
legs. It's probably why he doesn't have a jump shot
and resorts to a set shot. Call it genetics, call it
not working out in the off season, but the boy can't
jump to save his life. I think Danny Ferry or Austin
Croshere may have more hops than Toine. So Walker's
lack of physical attributes may be another component
to why he doesn't excel in the game. But in the same
argument, it doesn't explain why Bird was so great.
Bird was probably slower than Toine and had less
vertical but he had 10000000 times the career Toine
has now. Bird though was alot more smarter on the
court and knew how to make up for his deficiencies
with great strategy and fundamentals. Walker has
neither. So when it comes down to it Toine is just
plain stupid and doesn't understand the nuances of the
game.
