Sorry Dan, Comparing Walker to Jordan is way, way wide of reality, IMO.
Your theory about how he plays I agree with to a point.  It is similar to
someone comparing his game to J. Williams in another post.  Kind of a pick
up game mentality.

Someone on the list recently made a sarcastic remark about how Bird must
have been stupid when he wanted to trade for Walker while the coach of
Indiana.

What that writer missed was that Walker would have been surrounded by
players and a coach who were clearly superior in every facet of the game of
basketball.  Walker could have learned an immeasurable amount from them.
Plus, Bird could have sat him and no one would have paid any attention to
any complaints (If there were any) by Walker.  Everybody would have said
"Well do what Bird is telling you to do and you'll play more".

He would have been a better player for it but Jordan?  Nah, not even in the
same building, metaphorically speaking.
